GuardianBlock is a gambling blocker for Windows with a second person built in. Nobody imposes it on you. You choose it, and you choose who holds the key.

The state of things

Gambling used to mean going somewhere. Now the sportsbook sponsors the broadcast, the commentators read the odds between plays, and the parlay ad runs before the highlight does. Prediction markets took the same bet, called it a contract, and skipped the part where anyone has to call it gambling.

None of this arrived because people asked for it. It arrived because it pays — and it lands hardest on young men who grew up with a phone in hand and a bet one tap away. The industry's model is simple: make access effortless, and make quitting lonely.

The gap

Anyone who has tried to quit something alone knows the gap between deciding to stop and the moment the urge actually arrives. A good intention from last week is no match for one tap right now.

The turn

So we put a second person in the room. GuardianBlock blocks gambling sites on your Windows PC, plus any site you decide is off-limits. Sensitive protection changes go to someone you trust for approval, through their own account. If protection shows interference or goes quiet, its health state becomes visible to both of you.

The urge does its best work alone and in silence. We designed out both.

The refusal

Most blocking tools sit in front of your entire connection — a DNS service or a VPN that reroutes traffic. GuardianBlock works in the browser and on the device. It does not alter DNS, hosts, VPN, firewall, proxy, routes, adapters, SMB mappings, mapped drives, WSL mounts, or work-network configuration.
