GuardianBlock installs through a signed graphical Windows wizard. Setup does not ask you to use a terminal, edit configuration files, or paste commands.

Run the guided wizard
A standard Windows setup wizard walks you through it: eligibility, your keyholder, preflight checks, protection posture, and browser verification, each on its own screen.
Approve the normal Windows prompt
Setup uses the standard Windows User Account Control prompt. GuardianBlock never asks for or stores your Windows administrator password.
Choose your accountability partner
You choose your keyholder when you set up your GuardianBlock account, and the wizard confirms they are ready before it installs. From then on, sensitive changes are authorized through their own account with multi-factor authentication.

The model includes a deliberate cooling-off period and a recovery path, so no one ends up permanently locked out and no decision is purely in-the-moment.
What the timeline looks like
Request, keyholder decision, 24-hour cooling-off, then a signed authorization valid for 48 hours that works once, on that device. Windows still shows its normal administrator confirmation when software is uninstalled.
